最近は、プロレスなどの格闘技関係の記事が多くって、「これは格闘技ブログか？！」って声が聞こえてきそうですねー。
それで今日は、ＡＭＤＡネパールこども病院に関する話題について書いてみますね。
ネパールでは、国王から政府への政権の移譲、政府とマオイスト（共産系ゲリラ）との調停合意の後、治安が急速に改善して、日本からも安全に人が渡航できるようになりました。
ＡＭＤＡ兵庫からも、次から次へと人を派遣しています。
９月、ＡＭＤＡ兵庫メンバーの薬剤師、看護師、助産師の３人がネパールこども病院を視察し、現状の確認と、現場の指導を行なってきてくれました。そして、１２月２日の定例会で、その様子を報告してくれました。
１１月には、Ｏ副代表が現地入りし、現場の医療支援、技術指導のみならず、今後のネパールこども病院の今後の支援の方向性について、院長やこども病院スタッフと協議を重ねてくれました。また、１月の定例会で報告してくれる予定ですので、是非ご参加くださいね。
奇兵隊からも、Ｏ副代表に同行して、事務担当のＮさんが現地に入りました。そして、（奇兵隊税務担当Ｎ先生の呼びかけをきっかけに）ビコーズという喫茶店を経営する方がチャリティーコンサートを開いて寄付して下さった資金を元に、現地のこどもたちの心のケアのために、ＤＶＤの機械とアニメなどのソフト１２本を現地で購入し、こども病院に贈呈してきてくれました。今後、外来待合室で、こどもたちの心を癒してくれることになると思います。
人の派遣のみならず、物資も送ることが出来ました。
岩手の県立病院の新築にともなって、大量に出た中古（といってもまだまだ使えるものですが）機材を入れたコンテナが、Ｏ副代表はじめスタッフの骨折りで、１２月１日、船便で日本を出航しました。僕の木曜日の往診先の、はまの医院からの寄贈によるオートクレーブも、一緒に送ることができました。まもなく、インドの港へ着岸、陸上運送を経て、ネパールこども病院に到着する予定です。
また、ＡＭＤＡ兵庫から支援の、次の方向性についても、現地と協議を重ねています。
一つは、ＰＨＡＳＥ事業の支援。
これは、こども病院から地域に出て、現地の母子保健教育や衛生指導、乳幼児健診を行なう事業ですが、治安の悪かった時には下火になってしまっていたのを、もう一度立て直そうというものです。
もう一つは、患者数の増加にともなって手狭となった病棟の拡張と、小児外科手術・婦人科手術のできる手術室の新設のための、外科手術病棟と産婦人科病棟を兼ねた新病棟の建設です。

1. Building new gynecological/obstetric/operational ward
a) Background
- No. of patients is over capacity
- Danger of infection in the present situation in which both women and children after operation are admitted in the same room
b) Future working schedule

- To internally discuss background/necessity for new ward and its plan/design
- To continue discussion with LMC for mutual understanding
Mar 2007:
- To draw design
- To estimate cost
- To estimate construction period
- To provide AMDA HQ with the above information and other final information (background/necessity for new ward and what improvement of services/how many more patients from what areas/how much more income are expected)
Apr 2007:

2. PHASE
- AMDA HQ will go through the revised budget and discuss with AMDA Hyogo
- As project was already implemented in Semlar VDC, one of the proposed sites, this VDC should be excluded in view of equality
3. Shipping of used medical equipment
