フランス語では、普通でない食べ物と飲み物の組み合わせをマリアージュといいますが、marriageがその英語(マリッジと発音します)です。

necessary conditionを「必要条件」としてはいけないことを納得できたでしょうか。一番愚かな反論は、いままでそれで慣れ親しんできたのだから、名前を変えるとかえって混乱する、というものです。
それは、いままで慣れ親しんだ誤訳で考えて、これからも相変わらず訳が分からない状態を続ける方が、混乱が少ないという、全くナンセンスな反論にすぎません。
このようなことをきちんと指摘する日本人が、ほとんどいないというのは、本当に驚くべきことです。
