Acumen Fund Japan chapter mtg
I had a meeting of Acumen fund today.
We discussed about what we can do for east Japan disaster.
To begin with this, we shall study IRIS. IRIS, Impact Reporting & Investment Standards is a common language for describing the social & environmental performance of an organization.
At first, we have to understand how the standards work and then try to apply this to enterprises in the disaster area. I will work on the sample report of "Solar Today".
I guess there is no standard to evaluate and monitor the potential and/or performance of social Entrepreneur in Japan so far. It would be great if we create the Japanese unique standards basedon IRIS.
