この間、広島にふらっと一人旅に行ってまいりました。
２人以上で行く旅は思い出づくりの旅、１人で行く旅は発見の旅。
こんな素敵なお言葉をお友達からいただきました。

広島はとても素晴らしい場所でした。今、そこは平和な場所です。それは人々の気持ちが成すものです。約６６年前のあの悲惨なできごとが根底にあるのです。原爆ドームのすぐ隣に位置していた小学校での生存者は教師１名、生徒１名。当時そこには何百人ものひとがいたそうです。現在レストハウスになっている建物には確か３０名ほどの人がいたと係りの方が仰っていました。そのレストハウスは原爆ドームのすぐ隣です。実はそこに一名の生存者がいたのです。その方は、奇跡の生存者と呼ばれました。原爆投下当時、彼は地下に資料を取りに行っていたそうで、難を逃れました。
現在、平和記念公園となっている場所の北側は、市内でも有数の繁華街だったそうです。しかし、原爆により一瞬でその姿を消しました。今は、たくさんの木が植えられてとてもきれいな場所になっている平和記念公園ですが、６０ｃｍ下には今でも当時の瓦礫が眠っているそうです。そんな事実を私は今まで知りませんでした。
広島平和記念館は私がもっとも訪れたかった場所です。原爆が投下されるまでの経緯、原爆が投下される前の広島の様子、投下された後の広島の様子、多くの生々しい遺品、悲惨な現場を写した写真、被爆者の写真。そこはとても衝撃的な場所でした。そこではすべての展示物の撮影が許可されていました。なぜだかわかりませんが、私はそれらすべてを写真に残すことができませんでした。なんだかしてはいけない気がしました。
原爆投下直後、人々は体の熱を下げるため、川に飛び込んだというのは有名な話です。しかし、彼らが飛び込んだ川は原爆により熱湯に変化していたのです。また、原爆が投下されたのちに雨、それも放射性物質を含む塵などにより黒くなった雨が降ったそうです。地下水を飲んだ人々は、この雨の影響で幾日も、幾日も下痢が続いたそうです。雨が降った時には気温がぐっと下がったそうです。被爆者たちは原爆の熱線に苦しみ、黒い雨にも苦しみました。元気に暮らしていた人も突然亡くなりました。一命を取留めた人も後遺症にも悩まされ、生涯病気と闘い続けたそうです。原爆の熱線により、皮膚はとけ誰が誰だか判断できなかったそうです。かろうじて声で判断ができたそうです。遺族は遺骨さえ、手にすることができなかった状況です。ぼろぼろになった服が唯一の遺品。遺骨が手元に届いた人でも、本当にそれが自分の家族のものかわからないというのが現実です。しかしある人はいったそうです。「こんな状況だから仕方がない、骨があるだけでいい」胸が引き裂かれる思いでした。
真っ黒に焼き焦げた遺品、血の染みがついたぼろぼろの服、８時１５分で止まった時計、足跡のついた下駄、原爆被災者の状況を示すジオラマ、黒い雨のあと、１.９トンにも及ぶ爆風でまがった鉄扉、人影の石、、、、、人の命はなんて脆いものなのか。原爆とはなんて恐ろしいものなのか。そこで改めて実感しました。
広島市長は、世界各地で核実験が行われるとその国に対して抗議文を送るそうです。広島の悲痛の思いはいまだに届かず、世界各地では核実験が繰り返されています。広島、長崎のみならず、私たち日本人は原子爆弾の被害を受けてきました。広島へ原爆が投下された１９４５年８月６日、午前８時１５分、世界は核時代へと突入しました。核爆弾に有益など一つもありません。一分、一秒でも早く世界から核爆弾を無くすべきです。
可能であれば私はもう一度そこを訪れ、もっと時間をかけて見学したいです。当時の人々とともにもっと長くの時間を過ごしたいです。

広島に投下された原子爆弾について
広島に投下された原爆は、長さ約３メートル、重さ約４トン、開発当初の設計よりの短くしたためリトル・ボーイと呼ばれていた。強烈な熱線と爆風は、爆心地から２キロメートル以内にあったほとんどの建物を破壊し、焼きつくし、放射線による急性障害が一応おさまったとされる１９４５年１２月末までに約１４万人の尊い命が失われた。

Hiroshima was so wonderful place. A peaceful place there now. People’s minds have achieved it. The root is that miserable occurrence about 66 years ago. One elementary school was next to the Atomic Bomb Memorial Dome. Survivors were 1 teacher and 1 student. There were about hundreds people. There is rest house next to the Atomic Bomb Memorial Dome. Survivor was only one person. About 30 people were in there. He was called “the survivor of the miracle.” He was in basement. So he escaped trouble.
The north side of Hiroshima peaceful park was foremost downtown then. But it was vanished by the atomic bomb in a matter of seconds. There are many trees now and very beautiful place. But debris at that time is still asleep in 60cm in the underground. I’ve not known such a fact up to now.
“Hiroshima peace memorial museum” is a place that I really wanted to visit. I could know about look of Hiroshima before and after. I saw lots of fresh articles left by the departed, photo of the miserable scene and atomic bomb victims. Hiroshima peace memorial museum is very impact place. I can take pictures of all display. I don’t know why I couldn’t. I must not do I thought.
After the atomic bomb dropped, people dived into river. However, the river was very hot water because heat of the atomic bomb. Black rain including radioactive substances fell there. People who drank underground water suffered from diarrhea. When it rained, the temperatures have fallen with a jerk. Radiation victims suffered from the heat ray of the atomic bomb and black rain. People who lived energetically also died suddenly. The survivors suffered from aftereffects of radioactivity. It was not able to judge who the person was because their skin melted. It seemed to have been able to judge it in the voice barely. Most of the bereaved family didn’t even get ashes. Ragged clothes were only article left by the departed. If they got ashes, they couldn’t judge it’s their real family’s one. One person said “because such a situation… there was only a bone… there was no other way…” When I heard that, my chest was a being torn desire. How fragile person’s life is! How the atomic bomb is frightened!
When the nuclear test is done in many parts of the world, Hiroshima mayor send the letter to protect about the country. The desire of sorrow in Hiroshima doesn’t reach yet. The nuclear tests are repeated in many parts of the world. Not only Hiroshima and Nagasaki but also we Japanese have received the damage of an atomic bomb. At 8:15am on August 6 1945, when the atomic bomb was dropped to Hiroshima, the world plunged to “the nuclear age.” The NO profit is in a nuclear bomb. It’s necessary to lose a nuclear bomb from all over the world without delay.
If I have some time, I want to go there again.
