Hi, I’m Taishi Tamaki.
全米でも有名なハリウッド・クリスマスパレードに青森ねぶたのみなさんと参加してきました。
I joined with Aomori Nebuta that was held in Hollywood Christmas Parade famous for United States.
ハリウッド・クリスマスパレードはロサンゼルスで毎年開催される一大イベントです。約５キロのコースをマーチングバンドや、飾り付けされた車、巨大な風船、たくさんのパレードが練り歩きます。日本の祭りが参加するのはねぶた祭りだけです。
Hollywood Christmas Parade is one of the biggest event. There are many Marching bands, decoration Cars, Huge balloons, and various parades. Japanese Parade has its own parade, which is Aomori Nebuta.
僕は青森県とは関係がないのですが、青森県人会にご縁で誘って頂いて参加することになりました。
I’m not from Aomori prefecture, but this event was held with people from Aomori. Luckily I had this great opportunity to join this parade.
ハリウッドのレッドカーペットをセレブたちや、たくさんの見物人の前で行進するのは本当に気持ちよかったです！笑
When I walked on red carpet in front of celebrities and lot of audience, it felt really good!! lol
少しでも日本の文化を世界に広めるお手伝いができたことが嬉しかったですし、このご縁に感謝です。
I was happy to introduce the Japanese culture to the world and I really appreciate this opportunity that I’m able to take part in.

In America it’s nice to see that Japanese people gather for this event as a volunteer to introduce the Japanese culture to the world.
