Shogo Kubo Memorial Skate Session. July 19, 2014 at the Venice Skatepark, Venice Beach, California… The Venice community gathered deep to give a warriors send off for our fallen brother, Shogo Kubo. A session at the Venice park with a dedication mural of Shogo painted in the deep end of the bowl went down with style and fury. Everyone who skated went hard and paid tribute to Shogo’s legacy with the type of energy you could feel and some of the smoothest style yet at one time. Christian Hosoi, Jesse Martinez, Pat Ngho, and Bennett Harada all dropped in together to set things off in Shogo’s honor and this was a session that will be remembered forever.
