Translation
Claude Monet (1840-1926) has unflagging popularity as a master of the Impressionists. The Marmottan Monet Museum in Paris possesses the works that Monet kept beside him until he died at the age of 86. From the Monet collection of the museum, we will show you some 90 of them. The works are the caricatures drawn in the painter's teenage years, the portrait of his family that was not made public when he was alive, Water Lilies, series of oil paintings, which captures the changing effects of light, The Japanese footbridge, the piece that was energetically painted when Monet was suffering from cataract, and the paintings that are rich with color painted in his very last days.
Also in this "Impressionist Masterpieces from Marmottan Monet Museum" exhibition, from Dr. George de Bellio" collections, Impression, Sunrise, which is known as the work that the name "Impressionists" came from and The Saint-Lazare Station, which is seldom shown outside the museum will be specially presented. De Bellio is a person who saw the value of the Impressionists earlier than anyone else. Please enjoy the "best Monet exhibition," which was realized as the Marmottan Monet Museum prides itself from having world's largest Monet collection.
