Brad Davis: That was . . . it was tough. We knew that they will come after us. Pressure . . . there will be going to be a team that never gives up. I think they showed that. But I think we showed some good patience, we showed some good build ups, and we defended like I said we defended as a group. Everybody was very unselfish and working getting behind the ball and that's what you need to come out victorious. That's one of the things that we talked about for the game. Coming into these camps is always been going about 4 weeks together, so we knew it wasn't going to be always pretty. But one thing we already knew was we were going to work for each other.
Nick Rimando: We wanted to go after them. We knew that we had couple games that were underneath their bout. But we were confident out there. We wanted to move the ball, we wanted to bring the energy to the game, and just being back there seeing there where the guys moving the ball. One that Wondoloswski scored and just moving from the players upfront--it was fantastic!
Graham Zushi: I thought we did a fantastic job. As starting the game off on a high note, got that early goal, and put the work in--just a great result.
Chris Wondolwski: Yeah absolutely! It's always a great feeling especially if you get that win. Just kind of cap off this whole January camp, I think it has been a special group, and we enjoyed it. And again, just kind of reward for all the hard work.
Nick Rimando: I think everybody contributed in that clean sheet today. I thought that the back line was fantastic. I thought we moved the ball well, between our back four and midfield. But it feels good because this is another opportunity to show Jürgen [Klinsmann] what we could do. And I think all of us were in here for a reason. And to come out here with victory 2-0 is a good showing for sure!
Brad Davis: These 4 weeks have been tough, and everybody has really worked hard to come in here and really put the effort in . . . you always want to walk away with the win. We had a great year last year with the 100-year in a U.S. soccer--obviously qualified for the World Cup. We have 5 months little till the World Cup. Everyone started this year off in a right note as well, and I think guys had the right mentality. We fought for each other out there, and think it was a great result for us for all. So we are all going home happy.
