先月下旬、国立新美術館で開催されていた『リヒテンシュタイン：華麗なる侯爵家の秘宝』展を見に行きました。
(Late last month, I went to The National Art Center, Tokyo to see the exhibition of "Masterworks from the Collections of the Prince of Liechtenstein.")
綺麗な景色があたり一面に広がっていたので、思わずシャッターに手をやってしまい、またたくさん写真を撮ってしまいました。ヾ(*≧∀≦*)ﾉ(As the area was filled with beautiful scenery, the place had compelled me to press the shutter button. As a result, I took many pictures again.ヾ(*≧∀≦*)ﾉ)
展示されていた美術品は、絵画、彫刻、タペストリー、家具など、あわせて全部で１３９点でした。
(In the exhibition, 139 works of art were displayed--paitings, sculputures, tapestries, and furnitures.)
残念ながらこれらの貴重品をレンズに収めることはできなかったので、館内の一部、ショップで購入した絵葉書、リヒテンシュタイン家の宝に関するマンガの写真でご容赦ください。ｍ（＿ ＿）ｍ
(Unfortunately, I was not able to shoot these valuable works. But as I will show you the portions of the inside of the center, postcards I bought at the museum shop, and the pictures of the manga on the art of the House of the Liechtenstein, please forgive me.ｍ（＿ ＿）ｍ)
上から順番に、美術館内の写真二枚、絵画は本展来会で出展された「ロッサウの夏の離宮」（作者不詳）と「復讐の誓い」（フランチェスコ・アイエツ）です。
(In order, the first two are the internal parts of the center, three paintings are "The Liechtenstein Summer Palace in the Rossau" and "Vengeance is Sworn," respectively drawn by unknown artist, and Francesco Hayez.)
リヒテンシュタイン家は、美術品の収集によって世に名を知らしめた名家だけあり、どの美術品も目を見張るものばかりでした。
(As Liechtensteins made name in the world as an art collector, every works were attention grabbers.)
私事ながら、僕は館内のショップで買ったマンガ、『リヒテンシュタイン物語』（池田理代子作）、の次のページを読んで、これらの美術品の味わった苦難を知り、思わず涙をこぼしそうになりました。(´ﾉω；`)
(It is my personal feeling, but as I read the two pages from the manga, "The Story of the Liechtenstein Princely Collection," by Riyoko Ikeda, which I bought in the museum shop, and learned the ordeals that these works went through, I almost wept.(´ﾉω；`))
読みにくいと思うので、書き出しますね。
(I think it is difficult to read, so I will write it down.)
上記の言葉は、この当時のリヒテンシュタイン家の美術品ギャラリー館長グスタフ・ヴィルヘルムが家の美術品を、ウィーンよりファドゥーツに、命がけで移送する際第二次世界大戦中に難民となった子供たちを見捨てた時に発した言葉です。(ﾉω･、)
(The excerpts from the manga are then House of Liechtenstein art gallery curator Gustav Wilhelm's words. He uttered these, when he refused to save the war refugee children during World War II, in his way to transport the works from Vienna to Liechtenstein's capital Vaduz staking his life.(ﾉω･、))
マンガを読み終えたのち、これらの美術品を守り抜いたヴィルヘルム博士の勇気に感嘆すると同時に、コレクションの「真の価値」を知ることができました
(When I finished this book, I flatly admired Doctor Wilhelm's courage; and at the same time, I recognized the "true value" of these collections)
美しいものと触れることにより人の心は豊になるのです。(ﾉ `･∀･)ﾉ♪
