(I know it is late to write a commentary on international friendly match between Japan and France on Friday, October 12, but I'll talk about it today
)
(Please take a look at the video first
)
(As France will face a crucial match against Spain in away games in the World Cup qualifiers, it had constantly threatening the goal of the Samurai Blue, nickname of Japanese national soccer team, from the opening. And Le Bleu, nickname of France national soccer team, raided Japan's goal without giving it time to take a breath from corner kicks.)
(Karim Benzema's free kick in the 38th minute was the most dangerous moment for the Samurais, but Eiji Kawashima managed to save the team by making Benzama's shot to a corner.)
(Japan didn't show any remarkable performance, and the whistle of the first was blown.)
(But in the second half, Japan started to create many chances and the attacking forces began to function well. Yuto Nagatomo ran everywhere on the pitch without sparing himself, Hiroshi Kiyotake was constantly delivering a pass that can connect to decisive opportunities, and substitute Takashi Inui's dribbling added an accent to the team.)
(Then in the 43rd minute of the second half, both Kawashima and Yasuyuki Konno's efforts were rewarded. Kawashima was making super saves and Konno was balancing the squad from the rear by giving instructions to other members.)
(Japan had swiftly moved to counterattack from a rebound of Le Bleu's corner kick. When Konno received the ball, he started to run to the other side of the pitch and passed it to Nagatomo; then finally, Shinji Kagawa put the ball back into the net.)
(The final whistle was blown, and Japan marked a historical first win at Stade de France.)
(I hope Japan will beat Brazil, which will be held in Poland on Tuesday, with the momentum beating France.)
(Go Blue Samurais!!)
