Hi, everyone!!
guess what! I'm in mexico and doing mixi at the internet cafe, so pls forgive me to update my diary in English.
well, as for my travel , so far so good!!
In New York city, I was supporsed to meet my ex-girlfriend, but she e-mailed me in the last minute and said that the tickets are actually coming back mid-way through the day on Monday and leaving noon on Friday, so she'd have to miss work which isn't possible for her. so, we couldn't meet up (TT)
This sux big time!
but she'll be heading to Tokyo in the middle of September, so I'll see her shortly though.
However, I could still spend great time with the people I met in the youth hostel! we hang out the city, watched the musical (rent!!) yeah I could get a discount ticket for very popular musical rent! it was awesome!! but.... i had been jet rugged ..so I sometimes fell in sleep .. sux!!
and chilled out in the central park... i felt so happy!
also i visited the appartment that my ex-girlfriend whom i dated 5yrs ago lived in..
I was kind of excited and nervous at the sametime. weired feeling.. and knocked on her door. but an american girl showed up. and she said she's lived in there for only 3weeks . yeah, ex-girlfriend must've moved out long time ago, i knew it. but i just wanted to visit the place where she spent times. .
anyway, i could meet up an another friend and spent good time at times square area, we talked a lot while drinking. thanks a lot taking up your time for me!
then now I'm in mexico city! i'm staying here until 31st and heading for Peru!
ok, I'm gonna meet my friend and go clubbing now ,so bye for now!!

Hi everyone!
I'm in Peru now! yeah still alive!!
well, ever since I got into the south america, I've never seen a Japanese! and it's tougher to travel here without speakin spanish (TT) anyway, I'm getting by though.
so, after leaving Mexico, I got to Lima in Peru, and next day I headed to Alequipa, the second biggest city in Peru. it's soooo beautiful city!! complete blue sky and white historical buildings... time seemed to go by so slow here.. I came to like it here so much so, i was gonna stay here only one day, but i ended up in Alequipa for 4days. While in there, I took 2days tour for Colca Canion which is about 4hours away from Alequipa.
I was only one Japanese out of 30people from all around the world. and we dropped by the small village named Chibayi on the way to colca canion. and stayed over.
In Chibayi there is a hotspring!!!!
so, we went to hotspring , and it's outsite. (yeah, ROTEN BURO style!) hotspring is about the size of 20m by 15m and 1.5m depth. I soaked in the hotspring , and temperature was good! enjoyed chatting with the guy from Korea , the girl from Ireland while drinking beer in the hotspring ! (BTW, need to wear bathing suit) and when I looked up the sky, sooooooooo many stars shining! and also the moon was there! moreover, I saw some shooting stars!!!! (it's hard to make a wish for 3times before it's gone eh??) oh incredibly beautiful night!!!!!
after the hotspring, we went to have dinner, where we enjoyed traditional music Folkrole(spelling ??) and since I was randomly chosen, I danced with the musical staffs in front of many people(TT) (TT) which was sooo embarrassing to me...
anyway, it was the unforgettable best night for me!!!
next day, we went to colca canion. and it's just amazing landscape... where we saw many condors!! of course I played El Condor pasa ("kondoru wa tondeiku") in my mind!! www
now I'm staying in Cuzco. tomorrow morning, I'm heading to Machu Picchu!!!! soooo tempting!!

そこは不思議な場所だった。
見渡す限り３６０度、広大な塩の大地が広がっていたのだ。
地球の裏側、ボリビアのウユニ塩湖に遂にたどり着いたのだ。
ペルーのマチュピチュ、メキシコの世界遺産都市 グアナファト、華の都パリや水の都ベニス、その他今まで世界中で見てきた人類の創ったあらゆる造形物を遥かに凌駕する光景がそこには広がっていた。
今まで美しい景色をみて、しばし心を奪われることは幾度となくあった。
しかし、ウユニの、自然の創った神々しいばかりの美しさはあまりにも圧倒的だったのだ。
塩湖に沈む夕日。
徐々に真っ青な空が真っ赤に染まっていく夕日。。
クライマックスはその後だった。
その日ウユニ塩湖の真ん中に建つすべて塩でできたホテルに、ボリビアからずっと一緒に旅をしているアヤちゃんと、塩のホテルで一泊するというゆうこさんと３人で食後外にでた。
塩のホテルには電気や水はなく、夜はキャンドルライトでとても暖かい雰囲気を醸し出してる。が、マイナスゼロ度の極寒ではあるが。。
さて、外にでると、そこはすでに別世界が広がっていた。
１等級レベルの大きさ、輝きを放つ星が何千、何万とそこに煌いていたのだ！！そして、東の空から、西の空にかけて、天の川がずっとかかっていて、 プラネタリウムを遥かに凌ぐ空の天体ショーが繰り広げられていた。あまりの星の大きさ、多さ、そして美しさに３人とも、ひとりしきり、やばいよ！！やばい よ！やばすぎるよ！と声を上げたあと、静かに見入ってしまった。。
じっと見入っていると、流れ星があちこちで見れた。。
俺と、あやちゃんは、お気に入りの曲をかけながら、しばらく空をみつめていた。
ここ、ウユニは３６００ｍの高地にあり、周りに光は一切なく、耳鳴りがするくらいの静寂さを保っている。
冬の澄み切った冷たい空気もきっとこの天体ショーに一役買っているに違いない。
そして、ひとしきり、満足したあと、あやちゃんは寒い！とホテルの中に先に戻っていった。 俺はまだこの圧倒的な星空から目を離すことができなかった。ゆうこさんも同じみたいだった。
そして、ふたりとも、しばらく星空をみつめたあと、そろそろ戻ろうか、、と名残惜しくホテルに戻ろうとするとき、あることに気づいていた。
あれ、、 なんとなく東の空が明るいよね。。っていうか、さっきまであれだけあった星が少なくなってるような気がするのは目が慣れたからかな．．と二人で話し終えた、その時だった。
東の塩湖の地平線から、大きな満月が太陽の日の出のごとくゆっくりと上がってきたのだ！！
その光景といったら、神秘的で、、、見たこともない景色に、ふたりは、なんだ！！あれは！！と興奮してはしゃぎだしてしまって、その声に気づいた、あやちゃんが、なになに！ とホテルから舞い戻ってくる。。 で、３人で月が出てくる様子をじっとみつめていた。。
明くる日も、美しすぎる塩湖の日の出をみたあと、
俺は、真っ白などこまでも続く塩湖の上に大の字になって好きな音楽を聞きながら、寝そべった。真上には真っ青な青空が果てしなくどこまでも続いてた。
そのとき、どこからか、ピンクのフラミンゴの大軍が飛んできて、俺のわずか１０ｍくらい真上を横切って飛んでいった！！！！
そのフラミンゴの大軍は西のほうへと飛んでいき、米粒ほどにしか、みえない遥か向こうを散歩していたあやちゃんの上空を飛んでいき、あやちゃんの わぁ！！という感嘆の声がこちらまで聞こえた
ウユニの夕日、星空、そして朝日、。。。
今まですばらしい景色を地球上で色々見てきたけれど、泣いたことなんて一度もなかった。
でも、魂が震えて涙が止まらなかった。。
生きているんだ。と急に力がほとばしってきて、両手をあげ、澄み切った空気を大きくゆっくり吸った。
こんな場所が地球にあったなんて。。
来週２１日には東京に帰ります！
