After 2 weeks in Barcelona, I finally got to visit the magnificent church, Sagrada Familia!!!!

I usually don't use the word magnificent, but that church was indeed magnificent!!!
I had been longing for visiting Sagrada Familia ever since I was mere kid!!

Sagrada Familia I saw with my own eyes seemed little smaller than I had expected. Probably I build up way too high expectation on the size.
It suddenly appeared once I turned one corner in the middle of the town of Barcelona. The park in front of the church and the church itself was full of people to see this beautiful church.

In spite of the first impression, the more I looked at it, the greater it seems. Every detail on the wall and columns amazed me.

At the Nativity facade, you can see the bright colors, animals and plants. The facade was filled with vitality.

At the passion facade, you will see the sad statues. All statue bend their heads with agony. Even the whole facade represents persons body. If you step back and looked up overall pictures, you can see pillars are looking alike to person's muscles and ribs.
The muscles are tensed and nervous. It's almost painful looking.

It's a total opposite image from the nativity facade. I personally liked passion facade a lot.

The inside of Sagrada Familia was just... breathtaking.... The forest like pillars and gorgeous stand glass. Golden triangle shining above Jesus Crisis. Everything has a meaning and story. It gives you surreal space.

I went up one of the oldest tower. The view from the tower was spectacular. I could see the whole Barcelona town. Orange and white.

Just one thing bothered me sooooo much was scribble I saw all over the stone walls. NOBODY CARES YOU ARE THERE. STOP RUINING BEAUTIFUL HERITAGE!!!!!

I strongly recommend, if you cannot behave like grownup, don't get out.

Anyway, visiting Sagrada Familia was great experience and I can stay Barcelona 2 more months so I will try to visit Gaudi's other heritage as well.

Peace out!!!
