I am a father of a seven-month-old girl, who was born after my wife`s pain streaking fertility treatment, pregnancy and delivery (all were very difficult). My wife and I have been talking about writing a blog together once our lives get a little easier. We want to help couples who are about to become parents but do not quite understand how to receive full benefit of Japan`s subsidies and support systems specifically for childbirth and childcare.
But, even seven months after our girl was born, our lives do not seem to get easier. I found it not easy to start our blog.
Sometimes ago, I was watching a You Tube tutorial of how to write a lyric for rap music. It said some rap musicians often face difficulty coming up with a good rhyme and cannot produce even a line. The instructor`s advice was to write a really bad lyric on purpose. That way you can start from somewhere and keep going.
I decided to do the same for our blog for the moment. I am sorry to say that this blog is not going to be beautiful one. But, I will try to upload draft contents of the blog I would like to create with my wife in a different site in future.
But, the contents in this blog is not going to be entirely useless. I will try to include useful information for couples who are about to be parents in Japan.
For a while, I am not going to tell my wife about this blog because she wants our blog to be well-written, well-designed and eye-catching. I understand that. But, I am far less perfectionist than my wife. But I love my wife and daughter so much, but I believe writing a blog together will make us happier in future.
I just have to start from somewhere.
