アメリカ大統領選挙で勝利したトランプ氏は、選対本部長を務めたスーザン・ワイルズ氏を大統領首席補佐官に起用すると発表しました。女性の首席補佐官は初めてです。

トランプ氏は7日、スーザン・ワイルズ氏を首席補佐官として起用すると発表しました。
ワイルズ氏は大統領選で、
トランプ陣営の選挙対策本部長を務めていました。
トランプ氏はワイルズ氏について声明で
「アメリカを再び偉大にするために、精力的に取り組み続けるだろう」としたうえで、
「アメリカ史上初の女性首席補佐官として迎え入れるのは当然、栄誉なことだ」
と述べました。
ワイルズ氏は、
2016年と2020年の選挙戦でもトランプ陣営を支えました。
アメリカの新聞ワシントン・ポストによりますと
ワイルズ氏は67歳で、
今回の発表が2025年1月20日に始まる、
トランプ氏の第2次政権での最初の重要な人事だと報じています。
