Final Daikon Harvest
This year's daikon harvest finished about 3 weeks earlier than usual. The abnormal number of days hitting high temperatures affected the growth of the daikon, forcing me to speed up harvesting.
Volume was about usual, with the last round yielding about 110kg.
It's an example of the havoc high temperatures are wreaking on vegetables, which also required me to finish up my Chinese cabbage harvest over a month early.
冬の大根収穫終了
今年のダイコンの収穫終了は高温により例年より3週間早かったです。収穫量は例年並みでした。今回の最後の収穫量は約110kgありました。
この冬の高温は野菜にはとんでもない影響を与えています。白菜も春にしかみえない細胞変異があったため、慌てて1ヶ月早く収穫終了しました。
