Iron Cemetery Gates
In the West, iron gates have been used to surround cemeteries for centuries. In the world of magic, iron is protective and keeps out negative spirits. Also, there has long been a tradition of nailing horseshoes above entrances for good luck. Horseshoes are made of iron and the holes in them make them easy to nail anywhere.
鉄製の墓地門・柵の理由
ヨーロッパやアメリカの数多くの古い墓地が鉄製柵で囲まれている。同じく鉄製の入口の門も多い。西洋魔術の世界では『鉄』は防護効果をもつうえ、マイナスエネルギーの霊を追い払う。アメリカには昔から玄関上に馬蹄を掛ける習慣がある。馬蹄には穴が多いため釘で掛けやすいうえ、悪霊を払う役割を果たすメリットがある。
