こんにちは。
英国移民局が、合法的に居住している日本人に対して強制送還を迫ったという非常に不愉快な記事を見ました。

I just read quite disturbing news article that UK Home Office kept threatening this Japanese person about deportation.

幸い、この方は滞在許可に問題がなかったとして、日本に帰国せずに済んだのですが。。。
Luckily this person didn't get deported, I can't imagine how much emotional distress that incident have caused her and her family.
日本国籍を維持しつつ、海外に居住するという事は、たとえ正当な滞在許可を所持していても、居住国に帰化しない限り、それが絶対的なものではないのだということを改めて考えさせられた記事でした。
Although obtaining the proper visa and keeping the Japanese citizenship, nothing is guaranteed for us to keep living the foregn countries we live and there's always a chance of recieving the notification from the goverment to pack up and leave the country, unless getting naturalized to the foreign coutry each we live.
ただ、こういう事があったからと言って、強制送還させられる事を恐れるのではなく、むしろ、法的な知識を磨いて、ケースバイケースで対応できる様に備えたいものです。
Despite this disturbing incident, it's not worth feeling fear and I would rather recommend everyone out there to learn the law to get to know the rights in each reside country to prepare for the worst case senario.

今シーズンのトップ４には、２名の日系ダンサーLex Ishimoto＆Koine Iwasakiが含まれていますよ！本当に目が離せません！！
By the way, I'm watching FOX Network So you Think You Can Dance Season 14 Top 4 dancers performance right now. Believe it ot not, there are two Japanese American dancers, Lex Ishimoto and Koine Iwasaki, are still competing out of 4 contestants!!! I just can't help myself sitting in front of the TV every Monday to watch them perform.
