- critique If I were a better person this would be my game of the year. I am not a better person. I love Valiant Hearts: The Great War. Love it. LOVE IT. Go play it, if you haven't. How many games tell the tale of a conscripted 40 year old French soldier during WW1? How many games have such a fantastic art style? I have a Bachelor's of Arts in History; this game was made for me. It's historically accurate. It's only about 12 hours long. It's beautiful. The story it tells was heartbreaking and loving. Knowing that World War 2 is coming puts how the game ends in ominous context. Canada's role in the war even has an impact in the game! ARGH I LOVE YOU VALIANT HEARTS!
