Changhua, located at middle of Taiwan, is a warmer place than Taipei.
It's an ancient county (from 1723), even than Taipei (120 years).
Famous for fruits, rice, and meatball ....... Many deliciousness.
An agricultural county, I think.
The weather here is fine and thanks to the faver of the Central mountain groups, we have few chances to face directly with typhoons (unless it choose to invade Taiwan from the western coast.)
Though countryside (?) but it's in the neighborhood of Taichung, the third biggest city of Taiwan; Changhua is a satellite city of Taichung.
Changhua owns everything essential, and takes little time to Taichung for the luxuries or those are not in the local city (for me lived in the north part of Changhua, if only takes 15 mins to arrive Taichung.)
And Changhua is in the middle part of Taiwan; it means that it is a comparable distance to anywhere in Taiwan. ^.^
Going for a mountain tour in Nantou, 1-2 hours.
Hot sightseeing spots, such Sun-moon lake, the Jade mountain National Park, and Luku, and Puli..... and even Hualian.
It seems not bad in everything.
Oh,,,,,,, I think the only drawback is the republic transportation system....
You can not go anywhere without a car or a motorbike...... (｡・ε・｡)
