My initiation to the exhilarating world of theatre.
THIS is what's been occupying my time for the past few weeks.
And yesterday was a bittersweet finale of this production that I've come to live and love
like a natural extension of my everyday routine.
It was a wild roller coaster of meeting new people and working on a real production
with professionals and experienced artists.
But what's worth noting here is that they weren't just a group of talented people.
I, just so happened to cross paths with this wonderful cast and crew of oozing energy and smiles.
The kindness and warmth I felt being part of that group is something I'll definitely treasure.
Please take note, I even jotted down that experience
on a parchment for my JAR OF GOOD MEMORIES.

With that, let me end this note with my deepest and heartfelt thank you to
Alysha, Ed, Graig, Kath, Rob, Brie, Joe, Jeremy, Eric, Konna, Cyndi, Norm, Goro-san and his wife,
Annie, Wendell, Bea, the people who helped us set and strike the stage,
and to everyone who went to watch our shows.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

This is one of the BEST experience I have living in Japan!

I know I've been neglecting my blog for months, blame it to Twitter.

I guess the latter's feature of a quick rant and rave corner in a tweet robbed me of the time to hang here.

Row the boat towards the port my heart beats. That's exactly my agenda this year!

With that, I'm currently taking this certain introductory art class online.
Good news is, I just managed to pull myself and created something for the introductory art assignment.
Bad news is, since it took me more time to pick my skin tissues and brain cells than create an art piece,
I missed the deadline *scratches head*.

Man~ I know I can do better than this (artwork-wise and time management) I just need to
scrub off that stain of procrastination on my sleeves.

Materials: Black color paper, metallic pen (silver & gold), paint marker (silver, purple & red), and deco pen.

Artist note: I incorporated what the instructor said about being spontaneous and working on
one's mistakes and accidental spills to one's advantage.

After one year, I finally managed to upload this . . . .

Lighting Setups :
one light, clamshell, two lights at 45 degrees, one on-axis, and one at 90 degrees,
and then the basic 3-light setup of key, fill, and hair lights
(copy-paste from my mentor's email)  >:-)

P.S.
That's Tim, teaching and posing for us during the workshop.
Sorry, Tim!  XD
