Product Photography Class

I know this is way too LONG OVERDUE but the word "procrastination"
seems to have stuck on my blood vessels. But no, seriously, I suck at uploading and
tweaking photos via Photoshop. The moment I open the files and view my shots,
I get all so depressed with how poor the compositions or of how I screw up my DSLR's settings
that my shots were either grainy or blurry.
But hey, we learn from our mistakes right?
So, starting this moment. I'll suck up all my frustrations and try to learn from it to improve myself.
I really want to pursue photography, so I really need to practice and discipline my self every freakin' day.
Moving on to the shots. These first two were test shots as I grapple on the correct ISO
since we were doing a studio shot. Looking back, I feel like I was all over the place
since I don't have any concrete idea on how the ISO, shutter speed and aperture works.
Well honestly, I still do up until now whenever I have this sudden urge to take out my DSLR and shoot.
I would always end up playing with the dial, going up and down, checking out which setting captures
the correct light and hue I want to create.
And this is Tim's Mr. Daruma.
I had to fix the ISO and aperture properly to fit with the optical slave and light modifiers of the studio.

And this is Danbo, which was brought by another student for the workshop.
Our little dude here is actually a crowd favourite!
This one is my favourite from the set I took.
I think, this one is the most decent shot I took from the workshop.

P.S.
GAWD! I can't even remember the triggers, optical slaves and light modifiers we used from that workshop.
I really need to dig Tim's email somewhere in my inbox.
P.P.S.
Wow!
I guess this is the longest blog post I've made after a long time!
