HP: Deathly Hallows II | 『 the Missing Piece 』

 『 the Missing Piece 』

- NO STORY SITS BY ITSELF -

I've been reading Harry Potter since I was like 14 or 15 years old

- a Potterite by heart who used to memorize all full names of each character and the spells introduced each book.

Definitely one of those fans looking forward for the final movie that will wrap up everything,

which I did yesterday.

Incredibly WORTH the WAIT.

A decade of waiting for all 7 books and 8 movies to be released, I was satisfied with the final output.

Given they'll cut and omit unnecessary details for the final battle (e.g. Giants and Dumbledore's past)

I was expecting something like this as previous experience with the other Potter films have prepared me so.

I'm glad that Yates directed the final battle with a lot more intensity compared to what I've read from the book.

Like what I said way back after reading the final book, I was disappointed on how Voldemort was defeated -

Elder wand losing and him turning into ashes.

I was like, "That's it? Lots of lives were lost and he was defeated just like that?"

But then maybe I overlooked the minute details of the story that I failed to acknowledge the real impact of his downfall.

Somehow, the movie helped me re-create the images into something more intense.

Now I feel more satisfied with all these HARRY POTTER saga.

P.S.

I want to read all 7 books again.

P.P.S.

I want to give this film a proper review but my head is a mess and I'm in a very bad mood now.

So my apologies if I don't make any sense. I just have to write something while it's still fresh inside my head.
