The sound of the bustling crowd at the grocery store . . .
The scent of fresh raw meat. . .
People you brushed shoulders with. . .
Carts that clang as you hit the cold metal of another rolling cart as you wade from aisle to aisle.
Even the smiling faces of the workers and the frown written on the face of their supervisor
with hands akimbo as she gave orders here and there struck something within me.
