*darn I was about to post my 2nd LONG entry when I accidentally click the BACK button*
so this is the 2nd time I'm going to type this . . . ゛(`ヘ´#) ferk!
This was taken from ABS-CBN news.
A statement given by Ted Failon's daughter.

In an interview on Bandila, Kaye Etong, eldest daughter of Failon, criticized the Quezon City police
for their allegedly inhumane way of treating her relatives.
“My relatives are not criminals. They just wanted to take care of my mother,” Kaye said.
She said the police had no warrants of arrest when they took into custody her relatives.
Kaye said she believes her mother felt the stress from the commotion brought about the
police’s warrantless arrests, which contributed to her passing away.
“I think mama felt the stress,” she said.
Kaye said that when her mother tried to kill herself on Wednesday, she was alone,
and when she died, she was without her siblings.
She asked the police: “Are you content with what you’ve done to us?
What else do you want to do to us?”
Kaye said there were no inconsistencies in the statements of her father and the
helpers who were in their home when her mother attempted to kill herself.
“It’s very painful to admit before the public that she tried to take her life.
It’s hard to admit before national TV that my mom committed suicide,” she said crying.
“Stop all these charges already.”

This is exactly the reason why I am fuming this early in the morning.
I am totally disappointed and furious at how the Quezon City Police dealt with this case
arresting the victim's relatives and house helpers with EXCESSIVE FORCE
without any WARRANT of ARREST!
Now they are telling the media that these suspects were arrested due to OBSTRUCTION of JUSTICE
for cleaning the scene of the crime when they are not following POLICE PROTOCOL.
For pete's sake!
This is BASIC Philippine Constitution!
Anyone who took Social Studies / Phillipine Government in 6th grade knows that one cannot be
arrested without any WARRANT of ARREST
Sorry for cussing but. . . . BULLSHIT ( ̄へ ̄ 凸
Is it not comprehensible?
To the Quezon City Police.
You don't need to borrow Einstein's neurons to exacerbate your brain cells
to figure out what Sec. 2 of the Bill of Rights is all about.
This is very elementary.
Now which among the phrases abovementioned gave them the privilege
to arrest their suspects, pulling them by the collar as if they were some criminals?
NONE.
Because they don't have any Warrant of Arrest.
No judge to mandate orders based on a witness' testimony.
And none of the family members filed a case because they themselves admit that
Ted Failon's wife committed suicide.
Want to know my thoughts about this one?
Well, I think someone is behind all of this ruckus.
Ted Failon is a famous broadcaster working for ABS-CBN with a great chance
of winning if he run for the elections.
So, it's either someone took this as an open oppurtunity to pull Ted Failon down
and destroy his credibility
or
this is a form of retaliation by Quezon City Police for that EDSA-NIA incident
in which ABS-CBN caught on camera some of the Quezon City Police
firing gun shots to car thieves even if there was no counter-attack on the side of the thieves.
One policeman even kicked a body, drag it out and shot the man even if it was already dead.
TOTALLY INHUMANE!
