Half awake

Sometimes, I really have this weird habit of texting while I'm half-awake~
And that's exactly what happened to me this morning.

I grabbed some sleep around 2AM and woke up this 7AM.
I sent Aquino-せんせい an SMS asking her what time she's available today~

I thought I sent the message so I went back to sleep.

When I woke up again and checked my cellphone I saw 1 missed call from her so I bolted up from my sleep and tried calling her. But the automated machine keeps on saying 'CANNOT BE REACH'.

So, I waited for her to reply back via SMS.

Well, because my new works starts next Monday I decided to go to school and drop by the Registrar and hunt for my professor. BUT I REALLY CAN'T FIND HER!

So I checked my phone again~

NO MESSAGE.

That's weird. I know my せんせい very well. She will alsways reply either 1-letter reply like 'K' or a litany of messages. Now. Now. I checked my OUTBOX and saw that the message I typed wasn't actually sent!

That explains~

So. I tried calling her again for the 2nd time.
Her phone ring and I heard her answer on the other line~
but it seems that she can't hear me well coz she keeps on saying, "Hello~ Hello~Hello~"

Then I got disconnected.

Again, I called her for the third time when I finally got a good connection.

せんせい: "Yes, Hello?"

Benj: "weeee~ Ma'am its me Benj!"

せんせい: "Hoy! ____________________<inserts my whole real name>! I'm in HongKong now!"

Benj: "What ? ! ? !"
(ohshoot~ do I have enough prepaid load to sustain our conversation? )

せんせい: "Yes. I'm in HongKong right now. I'm actually confused with the recommendationletter you gave me because I'm used to just signing papers and that's it. I don't know what to write on the paper you gave. When is the deadline?"

Benj: "Oh! Deadline is on the 1st week on November. I just want to finish preparing all the documents as early as I can".

せんせい: "oh! So its still on November! I'll give it back to you when I return".

Benj: (＾＾ゞ " ah..sure no problem!"

Oh well~ I should just start thinking of what research proposal I should present~
