せんぱい

I gathered my guts and approached my Team Leader awhile ago~

I told him that I'm planning to resign.

He gave me this quizzical look and was waiting for me ta say anything

or burst out laughing and say that it was a joke. . .

But then I told him again that I really am planning to change career and shift to my real interest.

He gave me this very disappointed look on the face.

(ﾉ_-｡)

(Please, don't give me that kind of look~ It's making me feel guilty for leaving this company)

I was quite certain he was disappointed because he was not able to react right away.

But then he said,

"Well. . .

You know, I don't like it when people leave especially with someone as good as you. . .

But it seems to me that you have already decided. . .

I can't stop you since you want this nobler job. . ."

And I can't remember the rest of his tirade coz my brain was already crying inside.

I was really touched by the words uttered by my せんぱい.

I really owe him a lot for all the advice he gave me through out my stay.
