除夜の鐘

除夜の鐘は大晦日（New Year’s Eve）の
深夜（midnight）に日本各地の寺院
（temple）で１０８回鳴らされます。

これは人間の持つ１０８個の邪悪な
（evil）欲望（desire）を追い払う
（drive out）為のものです。

Joya-no-kane means the ringing of
temple bell 108 times at temples
all over the country at midnight of
New Year’s Eve in order to drive out
our 108 evil desires.

今回で１月からその都度説明しました
日本の年中行事の説明は終わります。
