万歳三唱も外人には奇異に移る。
「万歳」という文字から一万年を
意味するが、日本では三回の歓呼で
同等とされるらしい。

The literal meaning of Banzai is
ten thousand years. It is equivalent
of three cheers in Japan.

It is performed by raising both arms
straight above head shouting “Banzai”
and is usually done three times at the
high point or end of celebration.

先日アメリカの友人とフランス料理を食べに行った。
フルコース（full course）の話をしたところ、それ
だけでは不十分で、full course dinnerというべきらしい。
