蕎麦とうどん（１）

蕎麦（そば）とうどんを説明する場合、
Japanese noodlesだけじゃチョイと
さびしい。蕎麦はそば粉を使うし、
うどんは小麦粉で作られる。やはり、
蕎麦とうどん、だからもう少し「長い」
説明をしよう。

brownish（ブラウニッシュ）茶色がかった
buckwheat（バックフィート）蕎麦
flour（フラウア）粉

broth（ブロス）だし汁

kneaded（ニーデッド）練った
wheat（小麦）
whitish（ホワイティッシュ）白っぽい


Soba is long thin brownish noodles
made from buckwheat flour. There
are various recipes of Soba by the
types of broth and method of cooking.

Udon is thicker than Soba and whitish
in color made from kneaded wheat flour.
