REO Speedwagonは1980年代を代表するアメリカのロックバンドの一つです。
お笑いコンビ「スピードワゴン」の由来はこのバンド・・・
ではなくて、漫画「ジョジョの奇妙な冒険」第一部に出て来る登場人物です。
こっちのスピードワゴンの名前の由来が、「REO Speedwagon」になります。
この漫画を書いている荒木先生は、相当な洋楽好きですよね。分かった上でこの漫画を読むと、荒木先生の好きな音楽の系統が分かる気がします。
