寒暖差の激しい週になりそうですね。
花粉症持ちの方は、風邪をひくと厄介なので、暖かい服装でお出かけしてくださいね。
もちろん、そうでない人も気をつけてくださいね。
さて、引っ越してから、はや一週間が経とうとしているのですが、なかなか段ボール箱を整理できないでいる状態の中。
僕は、古くからの親友からLINEで
「TOSHI NAGAIさんが出演するライブがあるから一緒に見に行く？」
と誘われ
「マジで！？行く行く！」
すぐに返事し、久しぶりの親友との再会と約5年ぶりにTOSHI NAGAIさんに会いに行くことになりました。
TOSHI NAGAIさんは、僕の故郷・宮崎県都城市出身のドラマーで、あのGLAYのサポートドラマーでもあります。
僕は、約5年前、ドラムを始めたばかりの頃、親友の紹介で都城で開催されたTOSHIさんのドラムクリニックを見学させていただき、勉強させていただいたことがありました。
その時の休憩時間にTOSHIさんが
「君、（ドラム）叩かないの？」
と声をかけて頂いて、まだ、僕はそのときドラムを初めて1ヶ月も経っていなかったので、
「いやいや、まだ始めたばかりなので、見学だけさせていただきます！」
っと、テンパりながら返事をしたことを今でも覚えています。
そんな憧れのTOSHIさんのドラムを再び見れる、いや、何度でも見れると考えると、勉強させていただく機会が更に増える！相談もさせていただける！
そのような環境に身を置ける機会に恵まれているという嬉しさを噛み締めながら、僕は、渋谷の待ち合わせ場所で親友と合流しました。
親友との再会は、2年ぶりだったので、近くのコーヒーショップで最近の話や思い出話で花を咲かせたあと。
2組のアーティストさんのコラボイベントKINAKO×CHICA～two woman LIVE～】produeced by Toshi Nagaiを見に渋谷のwasted timeへ足を運びました。
ドラムとギターボーカルの組み合わせなど、いろいろな組み合わせがあって、ある有名なユニットのバックでサポートをしているベーシストの工藤さんも出演するなど、とても楽しめるライブでした。
打ち上げにも参加させていただきましたが、会話のレベルが高すぎて聞きに徹するのがやっとでした。
そんな中、TOSHIさんが真向かいの席に移動してきて、それがきっかけとなり、少しお話させていただいた隣に座っている方が、プロバンドのTRIPLAINのドラム広田周さんであったことは帰りの電車の中で気が付きました。
まさか、プロバンドの方と会話していたなんて。(・o・)
うまく予定が合えば、TRIPLAINのライブ見に行きたいなぁ。
最後に、TOSHIさんと別れ際に握手したあと、ドラムに関する質問を一つさせて頂いてさせて頂き、教えていただいたことを吸収できるように頑張りたいと思います。(^^ゞ
