Once the credit card details are processed, booking details are automatically sent to the hotel. A voucher and invoice are sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of booking. The voucher needs to be signed and presented to the hotel, at the time of check-in.
In case the booking has to be amended or cancelled for any reason, the hotels usually deduct the administration charges from the refund. The amendment policy and charges depend on the hotel's individual policy and on the availability of rooms. In order to ensure accuracy, it is always better to instruct the amendments in writing. Amendments over the phone are usually not acceptable, unless the matter is extremely urgent. Even then the person is requested to confirm the same in writing, as soon as possible.
