恵方巻が半額で山積みされていました。恵方巻とか興味は全くないんですけどフードロス削減に貢献するために購入しました。
I happened to find Ehomaki for half price at the grocery store. I am not interested in such commecialized tradition on Setsubun Day, that Ehomaki, a kind of thick sushi roll bar has been eaten on Setsubun Day in Kansai region. It was a relatively new tradition in Kansai region but it has been common across the Japan nowadays. I think you don't have to eat it, if you live in out of Kansai. I bought it because I wanted to reduce food waste when I found that a lot of half price Ehomaki were piled up at the grocery store.

Woops, it was February 2, yesterday. Setsubun Day is February 3. I made a mistake, a day earlier than actual. But it didn't care. I ate it in silence while I directed to south-southeast.
信州戸隠おびなた 旬限定品 新そば
This is Obinata brand Shin Soba, that is produced by newly harvested buckwheat. It seems that the buckwheat flour was glinded by themselves from domestic harvested buckwheat and contans more than 50% of buckwheat flour.
美味しかったです。最近、蕎麦の好みが変わってきたような気がします。更科蕎麦のような、細くて歯切れの良い蕎麦が最近は好きなんです。この干しそば、とっても美味しかったです。蕎麦の風味はあまり感じませんでしたが、新蕎麦の甘みがしっかり感じられました。
It was good. I fell my preference of soba noodles has been changed recently. I prefer thin and crisp soba noodles like Sarashina. It was so good. The soba noodle didn't have much buckwheat flavor but had much sweetness from new harvested buckwheat.
