私は、今年中に海外に友達を100人作ることを決めています。近頃、SNSでメッセージが届くことが増えました。その中には、勧誘や救済を求めるものもありますが、日本のことを知りたいという人もいます。日本の魅力を世界に伝えることが自分のミッションだと思うようになりました。自分自身も椿の花言葉のように「美と品格に誇りを持つ」という生き方を目指しています。
先日、ホテルのエレベーターで「素敵ですね。」と私に声をかけてくれた女性がいます。彼女は、毎月韓国から福岡に来ているそうで、大好きな「リッツカールトンホテル福岡」を彼女も気に入っていて、来てしまうという話で意気投合しました。
一流のサービスは、そこでしか体験できませんし、一度行くと、絶対にまた行きたいと思うものです。私は、ホテルの空間やお食事だけでなく、そこで働くスタッフも大好きです。自分のホテルに対する愛やサービスの質の向上に努めているということが言葉や態度、表情などから伝わるからです。いつも笑顔で迎えてくれて、気配りもとても素晴らしいです。
完璧な日本人のおもてなしがされている場所です。いろいろなホテルに泊まりましたが、私はまだ、このホテル以上の場所に出会ったことはありません。私のビジネスポリシーにある、皆で幸せになる、西洋と東洋の融合による新たな価値の創発と表現が叶う場所です。
韓国の女性と連絡先を交換しました。私は、韓国がエンタメの技術が高いという認識があって、韓国は自分のパフォーマンスをよく見せるために一度行きたいと思っていました。勉強のために、韓国に行こう。そう決めて、お友達になりたての彼女に連絡をしました。
私が韓国に行けそうな日を伝えると、彼女はヴァイオリンの練習をしている日だということが解りました。私は、音楽とダンスが世界を救うと信じています。数か月前もコントラバス奏者に出会い、ダンスとコラボレーションしました。今回はヴァイオリン奏者に出会った。奇跡の出会いです。
私は、日本人が演奏している「真田丸のメインテーマ」でショーダンスの創作に取り掛かっています。ヴァイオリンの演奏が出来る人と知り合うなんてとても嬉しい。「その練習を聴きに行きたい、私は、それだけで満足できる。」私がそう言うと、彼女はびっくりしていましたが、これからスケジュール調整をしてくれることになりました。韓国を案内してくれるそうです。
音楽で繋がるご縁に感謝です。大切にします。私は最高に幸せです。
I have decided to make 100 friends abroad by the end of this year. Recently, I have been receiving more and more messages on social networking sites. Some of them are solicitations or requests for relief, but others want to know more about Japan. I have come to think that my mission is to tell the world about the charms of Japan. I myself aim to live a life of 'pride in beauty and dignity', like the language of camellia flowers.
The other day, in a hotel lift, a woman said to me, "You look lovely." I was so impressed that a woman said to me, "You look wonderful!". She said she comes to Fukuoka from South Korea every month and we hit it off when she told me that she also likes her favourite hotel, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Fukuoka, and that she would come.
First-class service can only be experienced there, and once you go there, you definitely want to go back. I love not only the hotel space and food, but also the staff who work there. This is because you can tell from their words, attitude and facial expressions that they love their hotel and strive to improve the quality of their service. I exchanged contact details with a Korean woman. I was aware that Korea has a high level of entertainment technology and I wanted to go to Korea once to show my performance well. Let's go to Korea to study. I decided to do so and contacted her, who had just become my friend.
I told her when I could go to Korea, and it turned out to be the day she was practising her violin. I believe that music and dance can save the world. A few months ago I met a double bass player and we collaborated with dance. This time I met a violin player. It is a miraculous encounter.
I am working on the creation of a show dance with the main theme of Sanadamaru, which is played by a Japanese person. I am very happy to get to know someone who can play the violin. I want to go and listen to that practice, that's all I need to be satisfied." She was surprised when I said this, but she will now arrange a schedule for me. She is going to show me around Korea.
I am grateful for the connections I have made through music. I will cherish it. I am supremely happy.
