ポール・マッカートニーのレア音源を収録したブートＬＰです。
1980年8月にサセックスのパーク・ゲート・スタジオで録音されたデモテープです。
当初はウィングス用の楽曲として録音されたようです。
しかし日本での逮捕、ウィングスの解散、ジョン・レノンの死により、１９８０年以降ポールの音楽活動も大幅に変化しました。
McCARTNEYⅡに続くソロ・アルバムのプロディースをジョージ・マーティンに依頼して、その時マーティンに渡したのが、これらの曲を収録したテープだと言われています。
そして名作アルバム、TUG OF WARやPIPES OF PEACEがリリースされました。
収録曲のどれもが完成度の高い内容で、殆どの曲をポール一人で演奏していると思われます。
