皆（みな）さんは例（たと）えば買（か）い物（もの）に行（い）った時（とき）、気（き）に入（い）った洋服（ようふく）が沢山（たくさん）あって、迷（まよ）ったことはありますか？
When you went shopping, have you ever had this kind of experience such as there are a lot of clothes and you cannot decide which one should you buy?
そんな時（とき）、日本人（にほんじん）は、
「どっちにしよう。」や、「どれにしよう。」と言（い）います。
Japanese says "Which one should I buy?" using a word "docchi" and "dore".
「どっち」と「どれ」、どっちも英語（えいご）にするとwhichです。
それでは、どんな違（ちが）いがあるかみてみましょう。
Let's see what's the difference between these two words.
○どっち・・・2つの物（もの）から1つを選（えら）ぶ時（とき）。
docchi・・・You choose from two options.
●どれ・・・沢山（たくさん）ある物（もの）から1つを選（えら）ぶ時（とき）。
dore・・・You choose from more than two options.
「どっち」を丁寧（ていねい）な言（い）い方（かた）にすると、「どちら」です。
The polite way of saying "docchi" is "dochira".
店員（てんいん）の人（ひと）にアドバイスが欲（ほ）しい時（とき）に使（つか）えます。便利（べんり）な言葉（ことば）ですから、覚（おぼ）えましょう！
It is useful word when you ask a staff for advice so let's remember!
