29その兄弟たち、威光のある者たちに付き従っており、[まことの]神の僕モーセの手により与えられた、[まことの]神の律法にしたがって歩み、わたしたちの主エホバのすべてのおきてとその司法上の定めと規定を守り、履行するために、呪い[に対して責めを負うこと]と誓いとに加わっていた。

29 joined their brothers, their prominent men, and bound themselves with a curse and an oath, to walk in the Law of the true God, which had been given through Moses the servant of the true God, and to observe carefully all the commandments of Jehovah our Lord, his judgments, and his regulations.

30 We will not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, and we will not take their daughters for our sons.

31安息日に商品や色々な穀類を持って来て売ろうとするこの地の民については、わたしたちは安息日または聖日には彼らから何も得ないし、また第七年とあらゆる手の負債を放棄する。
31またこの地の民らがたとい品物または穀物を安息日に携えて来て売ろうとしても、われわれは安息日または聖日にはそれを買わない。また七年ごとに耕作をやめ、すべての負債をゆるす。
31たとい、この地の民たちが安息日に、品物、すなわち、いろいろな穀物を売りに持って来ても、私たちは安息日や聖日には彼らから買わない。また、私たちは七年目には土地を休ませ、すべての負債を取り立てない。
31 If the peoples of the land bring in their wares and every kind of grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we will not buy anything from them on the Sabbath or on a holy day. We will also forgo the produce of the seventh year and every outstanding debt.

31 “When the neighboring peoples bring merchandise or grain to sell on the Sabbath, we will not buy from them on the Sabbath or on any holy day. Every seventh year we will forgo working the land and will cancel all debts.

32 Also, we imposed the obligation on ourselves for each of us to give a third of a shekel yearly for the service of the house of our God,

33 for the layer bread, the regular grain offering, the regular burnt offering of the Sabbaths and the new moons, and for the appointed feasts, for the holy things, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

34また、わたしたちは、祭司、レビ人および民が律法に記されている通りに、わたしたちの神エホバの祭壇の上で燃やすため、年々、定められた時に、わたしたちの父祖の家ごとに、わたしたちの神の家に携えて来る薪の供給物に関して、くじを引いた。

34 Also, we cast lots concerning the supply of the wood that the priests, the Levites, and the people should bring to the house of our God by our paternal houses, at the appointed times, year by year, to burn on the altar of Jehovah our God, according to what is written in the Law.
34 We cast lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for bringing the wood offering into the house of our God, according to our fathers’ houses, at the appointed times year by year, to burn on the altar of the LORD our God as it is written in the Law.
34 Likewise we cast lots for the supply of wood among the priests, the Levites and the people so that they might bring it to the house of our God, according to our fathers’ households, at fixed times annually, to burn on the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law;
34 “We—the priests, the Levites and the people—have cast lots to determine when each of our families is to bring to the house of our God at set times each year a contribution of wood to burn on the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the Law.

35また、わたしたちの土地の熟した初物とあらゆる木のすべての果実の熟した初物を、年々、エホバの家に携えて来ること[に決め]、
35またわれわれの土地の初なり、および各種の木の実の初なりを、年々主の宮に携えてくることを誓い、

35 We will also bring the first ripe fruits of our land and the first ripe fruits of every sort of fruit tree, year by year, to the house of Jehovah,
35 And we made ordinances to bring the firstfruits of our ground and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, to the house of the LORD;
35 and that they might bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all the fruit of every tree to the house of the LORD annually,
35 “We also assume responsibility for bringing to the house of the LORD each year the firstfruits of our crops and of every fruit tree.

36また、律法に記されている通りに、わたしたちの子らと家畜の初子、およびわたしたちの牛の群れと羊の群れの初子、[これを]わたしたちの神の家に、わたしたちの神の家で奉仕している祭司たちのもとに携えて来ること[に決めた]。

36 as well as the firstborn of our sons and of our livestock—according to what is written in the Law—and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks. We will bring them to the house of our God, to the priests who minister at the house of our God.

36 “As it is also written in the Law, we will bring the firstborn of our sons and of our cattle, of our herds and of our flocks to the house of our God, to the priests ministering there.

37それにまた、わたしたちの粗びき粉の初物と、わたしたちの寄進物およびあらゆる木の果実、新しいぶどう酒と油を、わたしたちは祭司たちのところに、わたしたちの神の家の大食堂に携えて行き、またわたしたちの土地からの十分の一をレビ人に[与える]ことにした。彼ら、レビ人は、わたしたちのすべての農耕の都市において十分の一を受ける者たちだからである。
37われわれの麦粉の初物、われわれの供え物、各種の木の実、ぶどう酒および油を祭司のもとに携えて行って、われわれの神の宮のへやに納め、またわれわれの土地の産物の十分の一をレビびとに与えることにした。レビびとはわれわれのすべての農作をなす町において、その十分の一を受くべき者だからである。

37 Also, the firstfruits of our coarse meal, our contributions, the fruitage of every sort of tree, new wine, and oil, we should bring to the priests to the storerooms of the house of our God, along with the tenth from our land to the Levites, for the Levites are the ones who collect the tenths in all our agricultural cities.
37 to bring the firstfruits of our dough, our offerings, the fruit from all kinds of trees, the new wine and oil, to the priests, to the storerooms of the house of our God; and to bring the tithes of our land to the Levites, for the Levites should receive the tithes in all our farming communities.
37 We will also bring the first of our dough, our contributions, the fruit of every tree, the new wine and the oil to the priests at the chambers of the house of our God, and the tithe of our ground to the Levites, for the Levites are they who receive the tithes in all the rural towns.
37 “Moreover, we will bring to the storerooms of the house of our God, to the priests, the first of our ground meal, of our grain offerings, of the fruit of all our trees and of our new wine and olive oil. And we will bring a tithe of our crops to the Levites, for it is the Levites who collect the tithes in all the towns where we work.

38そして、レビ人が十分の一を受けるときには、アロンの子である祭司がそのレビ人と共にいなければならない。レビ人も、その十分の一の十分の一をわたしたちの神の家に、貯蔵庫の大食堂に納めるべきである。
38レビびとが十分の一を受ける時には、アロンの子孫である祭司が、そのレビびとと共にいなければならない。そしてまたレビびとはその十分の一の十分の一を、われわれの神の宮に携え上って、へやまたは倉に納めなければならない。

38 And the priest, the son of Aaron, must be with the Levites when the Levites collect the tenth; and the Levites should offer up a tenth of the tenth to the house of our God, to the rooms of the storehouse.
38 And the priest, the descendant of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes; and the Levites shall bring up a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms of the storehouse.

38 A priest descended from Aaron is to accompany the Levites when they receive the tithes, and the Levites are to bring a tenth of the tithes up to the house of our God, to the storerooms of the treasury.

39イスラエルの子らとレビ人の子らは穀物、新しいぶどう酒および油の寄進物を、この大食堂に携えて来ることになっており、そこには聖なる所の器具があり、奉仕している祭司、および門衛や歌うたいがいるからである。こうして、わたしたちはわたしたちの神の家をなおざりにしてはならないのである。
39すなわちイスラエルの人々およびレビの子孫は穀物、ぶどう酒、および油の供え物を携えて行って、聖所の器物および勤めをする祭司、門衛、歌うたう者たちのいるへやにこれを納めなければならない。こうしてわれわれは、われわれの神の宮をなおざりにしない。
39この部屋に、イスラエル人とレビ人たちは、穀物や、新しいぶどう酒や油の奉納物を携えて来るようになっているからである。そこには聖所の器具があり、また、当番の祭司や門衛や歌うたいもいる。こうして私たちは、私たちの神の宮をなおざりにしないのである。
39 For it is to the storerooms that the Israelites and the sons of the Levites should bring the contribution of the grain, the new wine, and the oil, and that is where the utensils of the sanctuary are, as well as the priests who minister, the gatekeepers, and the singers. We will not neglect the house of our God.
39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the grain, of the new wine and the oil, to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are, where the priests who minister and the gatekeepers and the singers are; and we will not neglect the house of our God.
39 For the sons of Israel and the sons of Levi shall bring the contribution of the grain, the new wine and the oil to the chambers; there are the utensils of the sanctuary, the priests who are ministering, the gatekeepers and the singers. Thus we will not neglect the house of our God.
39 The people of Israel, including the Levites, are to bring their contributions of grain, new wine and olive oil to the storerooms, where the articles for the sanctuary and for the ministering priests, the gatekeepers and the musicians are also kept. “We will not neglect the house of our God.”
