パントーンの「今年のカラー」は2000年に初めて発表され、セルビアンブルーだった。私はカラーが大好きであり、2000年以降、こうしたカラーについての議論がどんどん盛り上がっていくのを見るのが楽しかった。カラーのインスピレーションが非常に重要であることを示すため、今回私たちはパントーンの「今年のカラー」のヒストリーを作った。カラーによってフィーリング、ムード、スピリッツを表現できる。人生をハッピーにできる。「今年のカラー」を祝し、その影響力を示す為、私たちは表情豊かな写真を見つけて来た。
ぜひ、みなさんの毎日の仕事や生活の中にカラーのインスピレーションを持ち込んでほしいと思います。「今年のカラー」の実際の色を表現するため、自然の写真を多く選んでいるが、パワフルな色調が他の素材を用いたものもあります。
