1st Day

We left the house before noon, and began our trip by car. Our long lng driving from South Jutland to Copenhagen took about 3 hours. YEAH, 3 hours from one end of the country to another. Denmark is such a small nation, but I love this kind of “small communities”J In this trip we've stayed at a usual house, whose owner (They are just a normal family) is also on vacation and lends the house meanwhile, so as to get some money. The house lies in a suburb of Copenhagen called Amager, which looks just like Mitaka, or Tama in Tokyo, but here is more like…DIRTY. But it’s not a really big deal to mention about. Anyhow, we got there at almost 4 o’clock; our stamina not left enough to get around. In addition, there had a big football match of Denmark against Sweden. It’s just like the case of Japan against Korea; so thrilling, and so attractive. As a result, Denmark won with the score 1-0. It was so boring game I am disappointed and sleepy enough to force me to go to bed. I fell asleep at 11 o’clock, wishing tomorrow’s gonna be a good day.

2nd Day

The noise of the rainfall awoke me at 9 o‘clock this morning. It was raining a bit, but as every Danish say, “There’s no bad weather in Denmark, there are just bad clothes!” After breakfast we went to a scientific museum called Experimentarium. I had a similar impression to the 科学技術館 in Chiyoda city, Tokyo. A variety of items lies around, kids playing with them happily, and interesting stuffs I have never seen. After enjoying soap bobbles, we left there to a castle; Rosenborg Slot. It is built in 1600s by King Christian Ⅳ. But according to my host father, it is one of the smallest castles in Denmark, even though it seemed big enough for meL At 5 o’clock the time it stopped raining at last, we returned home. I got so tired I fell asleep on the sofa. Being in big cities takes my energy away although I am from a city from 10 million citizens. The two months staying in a small village with 700 people was easy enough to retreat my sense of being in a big community, which I had obtained naturally in Japan…L

Tomorrow I can see Kaho! It’s my great pleasureJ$デンマークとか自分とか留学とかその辺のこと-Nyhavn
