Would you give up the love of your life for your dreams??

Sometimes I read old entries from different people and compare them from their new entries...
A year ago they're the most in love people in the world but a year (or couple of years after) after they're taking their journey on their own.
now tell me... Can love be really forever?? Is there really such thing as REAL LOVE???
can someone enlighten me please... cause now all the REAL AND TRUE in my mind are disappearing one by one.
and then i realize that when u became an adult reality sinks in.... and that's the end of our fantasies and ideals in life...

now, should I give up someone I love because I can get more from the other person than from him??
