英語で読むと少しミステリーっぽいが、日本語ではどうなのか？
さて、今日ひろった表現。
「What would that be?」は「何でしょうか？」の丁寧な表現だが、なかなか出てこない。
「That is it exactly.」は「まさにそのとおり」、か？
「Let me belatedly introduce mself.」は「遅ればせながら」を「belatedly」で表現。
「Tento could not be sure of his age.」「分からなかった」を「sure of」で表現。
「People would probably be reminded by it of…」では「…を思い出す」を「be reminded of」で表現。
「Tengo could not, off the top of his head, name…」の「off the top his head」は「とっさに」の意。
Mmm表現の宝庫です。
