My adventure in Japan has finally started (sort of). I moved here with my parents in September. We have a multi floor apartment (dwelling) and they split the floors in to two apartments. I have the one on top, and they have the one below.
It's not that big, but more than enough. It (my apartment) has a kitchen, bathroom (with shower), a bed room, a dining area next to a living (general purpose) area. More than enough space for my old library, with a little room to grow. All my furniture (including bookcase & desks) are pieces that people threw out. Basically, everything I collected while living in Boston.
I also brought my computers, the network, and electronics bench (to refurbish systems). With books stacked on books, internet and tv - my world is complete. Although, I get lost outside of my front door. I use a firefox add-on translator to surf the global web, but that's a little more complex once I leave my network. So if you ask me where I am, the best answer I can give is Tokyo.
Fortunately, I've been living the otaku lifestyle for a while, and have learn to the use the internet to get just about everything.
