Jay Sankeyというカナダのマジシャンのマジックの中に、juicy fruitというガムを使ったマジックがあります。
映画ピーターパンの中でウェンディとピーターパンの世界をつなぐものが窓なわけですが、この曲の中では、ピーターパンがChanceでウェンディが彼女、そして二人をつなぐものが恋心、でしょうか。
Chanceは彼女に問いを何度も投げかけながらも、心の奥では自分にも原因があることを分かっています。彼女と同じように大人になりたいけれど、なれない自分。もう最後には引き留めるしかないわけですね。
