Too many tasks (too many tasks; too much work) made my brain explode ! I must analyze financial statements, write financial reports, negotiate with people who work in other departments, give advice (no plural for advice; no advices) to companies I’m responsbile for... Around eleven o'clock I ran out to an Italian restaurant and ate pasta & five pieces of pizza!! I felt better. Food always makes me happy:)

Tomorrow all of us in section four will go for a drink to congratulate a member's commendation. Also it will be the last time for all of us to get together because one member of section four will transfer to another section:( He is really a cheerful member so I'm sad...I can't decide (decide or choose?) where (where or when?) he goes, but my boss finally decided. He will transfer in July, so I'll enjoy the rest of time we can work together.

I took a law exam. On my way to the place where the exam was held, I met many friends who work at another bank:) Talking with them motivated me. I'm not sure if I passed the exam or not, but anyway the studying weekend finished! So let the real Sunday begin!! I have enough time to study English, but there are many tiresome and emotional tasks. (I changed the word speaking to talking. Talk is used for conversation, while speaking is the language. Ex: We talked yesterday speaking Japanese.

Today I did my homework and thought about "I'm working here." and "I work here". Now I enjoy working here, but honestly I'd like to live in foreign countries and work directly to support developing countries. After a couple of years, no one knows where I’ll work. If I get to thinking I can't work here, I'll change my job. To get skills to accomplish my dream, working here in Japan is just a first step for me. I know this way is strange for Japanese, but I dare to think this way. So I'll do my best here to go to the next stage as soon as possible:)

Subject: Accomodation Inquiry

Dear Hotel Staff,

I’m in the process of organizing a training weekend for our section employed by MUFJ Bank. The purpose of my email is to inquire about your conference room options, equipment available, and other information. We will of course need accommodation prices.

We would like to schedule our training weekend for the weekend of June 14th and June 15th. We have a small group of six people who will attend the training. We will need individual tables and chairs for each participant, as well as a white board, markers, and some ball point pens. We would like to begin the training session at 8:00 a.m. and will conclude at 5:00 p.m., both Friday and Saturday. Is there available conference room space for our training on those dates?

I would also like to reserve four individual single rooms for Friday night, June 15th. We would like for breakfast to be included in the room cost.

Could you reply to me as soon as possible regarding the conference room availability along with the accommodation costs. In addition, please inform me as to the hotel room costs for that one night.

I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,

Ayatra

First, you don’t know anyone at the hotel so it is a formal letter, and you would never begin by saying “Hi, I’m going to stay at your hotel this weekend….”

Second, because this is an email, you need to address (To:…..) who the email is going to. You need to create / invent the name of a hotel like I did.

Third, your subject was a little too long and should be brief and to the point. Notice my suggested Subject:

Finally, your message was not very detailed. You need to give or ask for more specific information. That’s why I re-wrote the email to show you how I would do it…Also, don’t use “Best regards” to close an email when it’s formal and you don’t know the person you are writing to. A better ending would be Sincerely, or Sincerely yours, …..If you have any questions, please let me know. Have a great weekend. Bob
P.S. I used the word inquiry (American version) instead of enquiry (British). 

This is certainly short and to the point. I’m not sure what the task #3 assignment topic was, so it is difficult for me to comment. I would point out that when you ask someone for something, try and always use the word “please” in your request.

It’s also best to use the word “our” rather than “my” as you are representing the bank. The information is not only for you, but it is for the bank. 

Good job as usual.
Last night I talked with Yuya about our future. I'll transfer to another branch in a year, maybe somewhere near Tokyo. Then after one or two years I'll be transferred abroad. On the other hand, Yuya will transfer to another hospital in two years. He’ll spend three years there, and finally he'll be able to go abroad. I'd like to work in a foreign country as soon as possible. But if I go abroad soon, after two or three years, we will have no time to share our lives together. As Yuya comes to Tokyo, I’ll be abroad...This is a problem
Last night a friend who belonged to the same club at university as me, called me up. Now he works at Toyama in training at factories. He told me my ex-boyfriend proposed to his girlfriend and it's a mixed bags of feelings. Anyway I enjoyed talking with him because at that time I was a little tired of waiting for a reply from Yuya... Night is too long to spend alone.
I am responsible for around thirty companies. Many presidents and accounting staff (there is no plural for staff) of these companies are really kind. They have taught me a lot, and sometimes they criticize me; but it's good for me.
I'm responsible for many matters. It's been a whirlwind of exciting new things, although it's been a bit nerve-racking, because my boss and my colleagues support me, I am very comfortable. Now I'm just happy and excited to be working and getting such really great opportunities.
