English version:
The Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima
I'd be even happier if you could also see the
memorial museum.
There's one in Nagasaki too.
I haven't been there yet,
So I'm thinking of going when I have time.
Japan is the only country where many people died from atomic bombs.
Looking back on the history of that time,
It pains my heart.
Studying in America,
I learned that the reason for dropping atomic bombs on Japan was
Because they judged the Japanese kamikaze
attacks to be terrifying and dangerous.
But at the same time, even now,
among American War researchers and those
involved in the war, there are some who
wonder: Was that decision correct?
Wasn't there another way?
There are people still investigating these
questions.
The Japanese people's willingness to sacrifice
their own lives to save their families, and
The emperor's intentions at that time sadly
Coincided, resulting in the loss of even more
of the people they originally wanted to protect.
There are many war-related memorial
museums in other prefectures of Japan
as well.
When you go to these museums,
You're overwhelmed by a unique sensation.
The air feels cold and scary.
But at the same time, there are
Many lessons to be learned from this history.
That war is not an option for saving loved ones.
To protect those we care about,
We need to use our brains to their fullest
capacity to think of solutions where no one
gets hurt.
We haven't fully learned this lesson yet.
It's true that fighting might suppress things
temporarily.
But hatred doesn't disappear easily,
We're just creating reasons to hate each other.
And something I always think about,
It's mostly men who go to war.
Few women go to war.
I don't want anyone to throw away their life,
But I always think, protecting women and
children is superficial reason.
I don’t want men to go to war.
It's sad, painful, and heartbreaking.
If it's to protect us,
I want them to use their brain more effectively and devise strategies that truly protect us in
the real sense.
Having said that,
I'm also appreciate to those who died in past
wars.
Because if they didn’t fight for Japan,
I wouldn't be here.
But the truth is,
War is not the solution.
If we must fight, fight more intelligently.
I don't think there's a need to shed blood.
We have brains larger than any animal.
Not using those brains effectively
in a good way is unforgivable.
This is my cry from the heart.
Did it reach to you?
(I used Claude to translate in English,
And I revised the some sentences the way
I want to express.)
Note:
There are many good stuff in Japan.
You can experience both.
I hope you have great time in Japan.
Our culture is really mixed at some point,
So maybe we can learn from each other first,
and after we can proceed to specific direction.
I am keep wishing that is going to be good
one.
