Steveston

I visited three place on same day because of fine day!!

It's very valuable in Vancouver, makes me excited :)

Steveston is a fishing village and takes about 30 mins from Richmond.

Many Japanese immigrated here in the past.

So there are some spot related to Japanese.

Murakami familiy used to live in tigs house.

Unfortunately the door was locked so I couldn't enter.

Walking on the boardwalk, we can reach a dockyard of the past.

I feel something wonder if consider that Japanese worked in this foreign soil before and I stand there now.

Lots of ships were on Fraser River.

The river looks muddy, but in fact, have abundant nutritions.

So salmon fishing is very prosperous in this village.

In Gulf of Georgia Cannery, we can observe process of canned.

This Village has some atomsphere of Japanese fishing village.

I feel "Natsukashii" for some reason.
