Go to Okazaki Coast, Naruto City to look for Hamabou flowers
徳島本町から国道11号線を北進し、鳴門市の花に指定されている「ハマボウの花」を探しに、鳴門市に向かいます。
From Tokushima Honcho, head north on Route 11 to Naruto City in search of the "Hamabo Flower" designated as the flower of Naruto City.
最初の探索地は、鳴門市の岡崎海岸です。
The first exploration site is the Okazaki coast of Naruto city.

残念ながら、ハマボウは見つかりませんでした。
Unfortunately, I couldn't find Hamabou.
次は、新池川の護岸に、ハマボウを探しに行きます。

川辺沿いに咲く花を発見。
I found a flower that blooms along the riverside.

川辺沿いに咲く花を発見。
I found a flower that blooms along the riverside.
ハマボウの花かと思ったのですが、どうやら違うみたいです。
しかし、路傍の花と言えども、愛おしく育てられていると感じます。
I thought it was a flower of Hamabou, but it seems that it is different.
However, even though it is a roadside flower, I feel that it is cultivated in a lovely way.
しばらく、観賞していますと、水門の辺りにプレートがあります。
プレートには「この川は、私たちがきれいにしています。参加団体名＝新池川ネットの会。協力市町村名＝鳴門市。管理者名＝徳島県東部県土整備局」と書かれています。
After watching for a while, there is a plate near the floodgate.
The plate says, "We are cleaning this river. Participating organization name = Shinikegawa Net Association. Cooperating municipalities name = Naruto City. Administrator name = Tokushima Prefecture Eastern Prefectural Land Development Bureau."
ここでは、ボランティアの方々と行政とが一体になって、美しい水と護岸を守っているようです。
Here, it seems that volunteers and the government are working together to protect the beautiful water and seawalls.
恐らくは、川の水を美しく守る一環として、護岸の横で花を育ててくださっているのでしょう。この素晴らしい取り組みを為さっている皆様に感謝です。
Perhaps they are growing flowers next to the seawall as part of the beautiful protection of the river water. Thank you to everyone for this wonderful effort.

ハマボウの花探し。次は、鳴門うちの海総合公園へ向かいます。
Hamabou flower hunt. Next, we will head to Uchinoumi Comprehensive Park in Naruto City.
シラサギが羽を広げたような小鳴門大橋を渡り、真っ直ぐ直進した先に、鳴門うちの海総合公園があります。
Cross the Konaruto Ohashi Bridge, which looks like a white heron spreading its wings, and go straight ahead to Naruto Uchinoumi Comprehensive Park.

公園の探索 鳴門市うちの海総合公園 Flowers in the park R030617
シラサギが羽を広げたような小鳴門大橋を渡り、鳴門うちの海総合公園に着きました。
管理棟の周辺を見回します。
管理棟前のプランターには、白色や青色の菖蒲が咲いています。
管理棟の左側(西側)の花壇には、海辺に沿って、黄色い花と赤い花が咲いています。
向かいのうちの海を挟んで、島田島西側に並んで浮かんでいます。
管理棟の裏側（北側）には、薄紫色のアジサイの苗木の鉢が並んでいます。
トラス構造の管理棟の骨組みが見えます。
管理棟の北西には、木材で囲った花壇の中に、花が咲いた、ハマボウの苗が、栽培されていました。
ボランティアの方にお話を聞けたのですが、隣の島田島には、ハマボウが群生している所があるそうです。
もうしばらく、この公園内を散策して、島田島へは後日訪問しようと思います。
植物を愛するボランティアの方々、有難う御座いました。
I crossed the Konaruto Ohashi Bridge, which looks like a white egret spreading its wings, and arrived at Naruto Uchinoumi Comprehensive Park.
Look around the administration building.
White and blue irises are in bloom on the planter in front of the administration building.
On the flowerbed on the left side (west side) of the administration building, yellow flowers and red flowers are in bloom along the seaside.
It floats side by side on the west side of Shimada Island across the sea.
On the back side (north side) of the administration building, pots of lilac hydrangea saplings are lined up.
You can see the skeleton of the administration building of the truss structure.
In the northwest of the administration building, flowered Hamabou seedlings were cultivated in a flower bed surrounded by wood.
I heard from a volunteer that there is a place where Hibiscus hamabo grows on the neighboring Shimada Island.
I will take a walk in this park for a while and visit Shimada Island at a later date.
