芝桜が綺麗な、徳島市の園瀬川と美馬市脇町広棚花の里の紹介です。

土手の北岸に、白、紫、ピンク等の色鮮やかな、様々な色の芝桜が見えています。 ここは、芝桜の園です。 この園中央の説明プレートには、 「この芝桜の園は、キラキラと子供が輝く地域を願って、地区の住民がつくり、小学校PTAと共に力をあわせ、維持と管理を行っています。 八万子ども環境花いっぱいの会 事務局TEL088-626-****」 と、書かれています。 地域に人々が、子供達のすくすくとした成長する事を願い、その思いを込めて花を育てる。 その様な、人々と花、人と自然の絆を感じさせて頂きました。

芝桜の、「ピンク色のじゅうたん」が、山間の広棚地区に広がって、人々の目を楽しませてくれます。
この芝桜は全国花のまちづくりコンクールにおいて、「農林水産大臣賞」や「審査委員会賞」を受賞しており、毎年多くの人が訪れています。

想像ですが、広畑地区の名称は、棚田が広く広がっている意味で名付けられたのではと思います。そして、この棚田を慈しむ人が、休耕田の棚田に芝桜を育てたのではないでしょうか。広畑地区の人々の、人と花、人と芝桜の絆を感じさせて頂きました。
As you can imagine, the name of the Hirohata area is that the rice terraces are widespread. And the person who loves this terraced rice field may have grown moss phlox in the terraced rice field of the fallow field. I felt the bond between people and flowers and people and turf cherry blossoms of the people in the Hirohata area.
