Hey guys.
I went to Westend where was histrical place for Aborigine and White.
The name'WEST END' was named by White to separate from Aborigine.Aborigine couldn't enter the territory of white after they've decided the line.so that's why the area was called 'WEST END'.
Nowaday there is a lot of cafe and shop. Backpackers and students live in there.
I like there.
After we left there,we met one of my calssmates while we were on the way to home.
'I got a part time job as a weitress at korean food restaurant' she said.
I envy her.I wanna get a part time job!!!!
今日は今月から入学してくる新入生達のオリエンテーションがあるから、学校は休み。
んで、ヒマやから昼から友達と’ウェストエンド’って所にお茶しに行ってきました。
ブリスベンのシティーから歩いて10～15分くらいの所にあるんやけど、昔はそこがちょうど先住民のアボリジニーと白人の境界の街やって、「アボリジニーは入ってくんな！」って感じの線引きをしてたらしい・・・。と、友達から聞きました。
アメリカのインディアンと白人の関係と同じ感じかな？
ちょっと下町の雰囲気が漂ってて、初めて訪れた人にはちょっと怖い感じがあるかもやけど、俺は雰囲気が好きやった。
んで、その帰りに街中でクラスメイトの子と会って喋ってたら「聞いて！私バイト決まってん！」ってさ・・・俺も働きたい
やっぱ、こっちにいる間にいろいろ旅行も行きたいしな～～～
っと、今日はこんな感じでした。
