今日も５つ紹介します
1 Predecessor
an individual who holds a position before another person
この単語はライティングで使っていました。
ニュースでも聞いたことがあるので、
覚えておくと便利です
日本語では「前任者」という意味です。
例文
Our new doctor is much younger than his predecessor.
2 Vague
of uncertain, indefinite, or unclear character or meaning
これも、覚えておくと便利な単語ですよ
「あいまいな、はっきりしない」
という時に使います。
例文 Tom gave a vague answer.
3 Suspense
a state or feeling of excited or anxious uncertainty about what may happen.
例文
We waited in great suspense for the doctor's opinion.
4 Creation
the action or process of bringing something into existence.
意味は覚えましたが、私はライティングで
この言葉を使うことが出来ませんでした
例文
Flowers are the most beautiful creation of God.
5 Antiquity
the ancient past, especially the period of classical and other human civilizations before the Middle Ages.
これは1度も使わなかった言葉です
でも先生に教わりました。
